Twinkle, Twinkle little star how I wonder what you are ?

We can only begin to imagine all of the questions that are racing through your mind and heart as you are experiencing this huge decision in choosing what is best for your child’s future. Trying to decide through letters and photos such as ours, which set of parents is the right one for your “little star” .

We want more than anything to help you gain a peace in your “wondering” by revealing as much as we can to you about our lives and family. By sharing with you so you can rest your head on your pillow at night - now and many years from now – and know without a shadow of a doubt that you do not have to wonder what your “little star” is. Because …. you know without question that she is a happy, beautiful little girl, surrounded by so much love and nurturing that she has a confidence that will take her far in life.

A family that knows she is TRULY a “little star” and does indeed treat her more precious than a diamond!

Hello! We are Starla and Eddie and so very pleased that you are reading this letter. We want to say so many things to you to let you know who we truly are and give you a glemence into our lives and hearts.

Our Marriage

We have been married for 20 years. This is the first and only marriage for both of us. We met while I was waitressing at a restaurant local to the college I attended and near Eddie’s home. Little did we realize that this encounter would lead to us dating for 5 years and later being married. After 10 years marriage, we were fortunate enough to have two beautiful little boys. We did not realize that due to complications, we would be unable to share our love with other children.

Starla

I grew up in a very loving home with Christian parents. I have two younger sisters –Kendra(who is a paralegal) and Shanna (who is a High School English Teacher). My hobbies growing up were playing Barbees with my sisters and riding mini-bikes. I also enjoyed painting, taking art lessons playing softball and singing.

I am a Kindergarten teacher for a wonderful elementary school that is only four miles from our home. I love children! I was honored by our school with “The Teacher of the Year” award for 2007/2008.

My greatest joy in that I have found in life is: Being a Mom and a teacher! There is nothing that has given me greater happiness in my life. All the college degrees, titles, riches, material possessions do not compare to the feelings I get from being a Mom.

Eddie

I own a successful business in the Transportation industry – S & E Transport. I am dedicated to being a good provider for my family. I have always wanted several children. It is wonderful to have two little boys and I thank God for them. I would also like to be a daddy to a beautiful, bubbly little girl.

My hobby is our family farm. We raise cattle. Our little boys have pet goats, cows, horses, ponies, and chickens. I also love building things for our children – like the large playhouse they have, the gym set with swings and slides.

I love to laugh and be around people. I love life and am a Christian father. My goal is to teach my children to love people and life.

I cannot wait to have a little girl to share my joy with and to be “Daddy’s Little girl”.

Our Home

We have a 2 story Victorian in a wonderful community. Our home is completely paid for. It is spacious and has a large bonus room (playroom) filled with toys, a gazebo for picnics, screened in porch for family cookouts and an office in the balcony that hosts our business office and a children’s learning center with computer for education. Our home is located on 33 acres of land with a large wooded front and backyard with a huge sandpile and wooden gym set and playhouse. There is lots of room for playing without the danger of a busy highway, yet within 25 minutes of the city.

Our Beach Home

We also have a beach home that we purchased in 2004. It is located on a dead end street where a senator of North Carolina lives. We are building many wonderful memories at our little get away!

Family Excitement!

Our family is so very happy and excited that we have made this decision. They have known that God was tugging at our hearts for several years now and all are so supportive in our decision to listen to his will.

We have not had a baby girl in my “immediate” family in 26 years!!! – Extended family – 17 yrs! CAN YOU JUST IMAGINE THE EXCITEMENT AND JOY THAT WILL FILL THE FAMILY’S HEARTS WHEN THEIR PRECIOUS LITTLE GIRL COMES TO THEM!!!!!!!

Our Hopes to you….

We hope we have given you a look into our lives and hearts and that you can see that it is evident that our hearts anxiously await a beautiful baby girl to love and adore.
