Dear Birthmother(s),

Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know our family. We can only imagine how hard this decision must be for you. We never would have imagined that we would be asking an expectant birth mother to bless us with the opportunity to adopt, love and raise her baby.

We are John and Robyn. We’ve been happily married 9 ˝ years. John is 36 and works full time at UPS, and Robyn is 34 and works 3 days a week as a physical therapist assistant at a nearby nursing home. On February 22, 2001, God blessed us with miracle twins born 15 weeks premature. Alexandra and Brady are now 6 years old, doing great and looking forward to the 1st grade. As a couple we never could have imagined the heartaches we would go through. First, we lost a baby boy prematurely at 21 weeks, which was followed by multiple miscarriages. We feel as a family that God is leading us in the direction of adoption through a special mother like you. Our kids are so excited to have a little brother or sister to love and help raise. They are the oldest of 7 cousins and already show interest in helping with them.

As a family, we are blessed with close friends with similar-aged children, and we spend time swimming, biking, golfing, skiing, and vacationing. Most of all, we enjoy spending time together as a family. Together we love to laugh. We take our 9 year old golden retriever “Ginger” for runs with our golf cart. We love to sing and dance with our karaoke machine on our downstairs stage. In the summer we put a lot of miles on our bikes and we enjoy gardening. Our favorite is movie night, where we pull the couch in the center of the living room and all snuggle in with blankets and popcorn.

We live in Michigan in an exciting neighborhood near a high school. We get serenaded by the marching band in the summer (for parades) and fall (for football). During football season we walk over to watch the games and the kids love it. Our neighbors are very loving and are always available to give a helping hand. Recently more and more kids are moving into the neighborhood which is exciting for our kids. We often ride our bikes to the nearby parks, and of course, the ice cream store. All four seasons here in Michigan keep our family very busy.

Our parents raised us in strong Christian homes that taught us love, honesty and integrity. They have been our role models throughout our lives and we are grateful to have both set of grandparents live within 20 minutes of our home. Our siblings live close, also. Alex and Brady enjoy having their aunts, uncles and cousins over often, as they care for our children while we work. We have been blessed to belong to a wonderful and supportive Christian church for the past 9 years. We volunteer once a month in the toddler class. This year we had the opportunity to teach the preschool class for a month. John is also involved in a men’s singing group called Faithful Men.

We can assure you that you would never have to worry if your baby is receiving enough love if you choose our family to raise your child. As you can see God has truly blessed us! We thank the Lord every day for the many gifts he has provided us. We have each other, Alex, Brady, loving families, supportive friends, a wonderful church, good jobs, a beautiful home, and financial security. Our hope and desire is to share our love and blessings with a child, to change our family of 4 to 5 and make our family complete.
