Our names are Steve, Macey, and Kaelyn. We would first like to thank you for taking the time to read about our family. We realize that you are facing one of the most difficult decisions you will ever have to make and we admire you for choosing adoption! Our prayers are with you as you take this journey.

Steve and I were married in September 1994. We met through mutual friends and dated for 2 years. We are very happily married and are best friends! We have a daughter who is 5. We adopted her as an infant and she has been blessing our lives since! Steve is a Regional Vice President of Operations for a National Food Service Company. I have been a Dental Hygienist for 15 years. I love my career, but being a Mommy at home is much more important to Steve and me. So, when we adopted our daughter I put my career on hold so I could be at home with her.

We love spending time having fun as a family! We like to take walks and go to the park! We like to swim and go to the local water park. We also like to ride our 4-wheeler. We are involved in playgroups and we like to get together with other families for cook outs.

We both have a close relationship with our extended families as well. In fact, our families get together to celebrate many holidays. We were both raised in very loving, nurturing families and raise our daughter in the same way. Our families are very excited and supportive about our choice to adopt again. They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new baby, as is our daughter! Kaelyn prays every night for a baby!

We live in a rural subdivision with our dog Kailey. She is a 13 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix. She adores our daughter, and has always been great with children. Our new home is located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of other families. We have an awesome play set (that Steve built) in our fenced back yard with a play house that overlooks the neighborhood!

We are a Christian family and are actively involved with our church. I am involved in the Mother's Day Out/preschool program and the Sunday nursery and we attend small groups within our church. It is very important to us that our children be raised with a spiritual background!

Our first adoption was amazing! We have an open adoption with our daughter's birthparents and continue to have contact with them. We are willing to share in another open adoption if that is comfortable for you. We have experienced how positive adoption is and are excited to do it again!

We are hopeful that God will bless us with another child very soon! We promise to love this child unconditionally and give them the support and guidance they need to have a successful future!
