We support young womens efforts to continue pregnancy while providing for their child’s future and her life. We believe it is ultimately the birth parent(s) who make the decision to seek the adoption alternative.

Meet Joel & Kimberly

Dear Birthparent(s),

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family. We know that God loves you beyond measure, and that He will lead your steps as you make the choices ahead of you. We admire that you have chosen life for your child. Although we have never met, you are in our prayers and we know that God will provide you with the strength, courage, and direction needed during this process.

Our names are Joel & Kimberly. We met on a blind date in college and married in 2001. We have been married for 7 wonderful years, and our love grows stronger everyday. We are looking forward to the next chapter in our lives when we will share our love with a child. We have prayed for God’s direction on how to start our family and feel He has led us to adoption.

Our home is located in a beautiful, safe, neighborhood in North Carolina. Our home has 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms, and has extra space for a playroom. We are located near world class medical facilities, and outstanding schools. We plan to send our child to a private Christian school near our home. This area offers many educational and cultural opportunities for a child. Kimberly’s parents live 6 miles away, and Joel’s parents live in a nearby county. Our families are closely knit, and are a big part of our lives. They are thrilled about our decision to adopt and are very excited about meeting their first grandchild. Our child will be showered with love from every direction.

We have one dog, Fosbu, that is very affectionate. He loves meeting children, and is very quick to give kisses. He is very well-trained and does about 20 different tricks. He is just as sweet as he looks, and his companionship is such a wonderful gift.

We enjoy exercising, gardening, walking our dog, playing music, and spending time with our family. Joel has a remote control car hobby that any child would enjoy. Kimberly enjoys cooking healthy meals for our family, and has won a couple of cooking competitions. She has fond memories of cooking with her family as a small child, and looks forward to creating memories with our child.

We are actively involved in a large church less than 5 miles from our home, which has a fabulous children’s ministry. We plan to raise our child in a Christian environment where they will be taught and shown the love, mercy, and grace of God. Our prayer is that they will come to realize the saving knowledge of Jesus’ sacrifice for them, and develop a personal walk with the Lord. We are both very active in the children’s ministry at church. Kimberly is the team leader for the 2-year-olds, where she teaches lessons using all sorts of fun activities. Joel teaches the 2nd & 3rd grade Sunday school class, and is amazed as he watches their faith grow.

Joel is fun-loving, caring, and easy going, and will be a great Dad. Kimberly is devoted, practical, patient, and nurturing, and will be a wonderful Mom. We know that you only have a glimpse of our family, and that the choice of adoptive parents is difficult. We can only promise to seek God’s guidance as we raise our child, and do our best with the blessing entrusted to us.

Love & Blessings,

Joel & Kimberly
