We support young womens efforts to continue pregnancy while providing for their child’s future and her life. We believe it is ultimately the birth parent(s) who make the decision to seek the adoption alternative.

Meet Jim and Joanna

Dear Birthmother,

We are Jim and Joanna. We are so excited to be able to share a little about ourselves with you. We pray that as you read about us God will give you a peace.

First, we thank God that you have chosen the gift of life for the precious child you are carrying, and are in awe of the fact that you love your child so much that you have taken the time and effort to ensure the best for your child. You are to be commended on such a selfless act of love.

We have two beautiful boys, but are longing for a little girl to share our love with. We have lost three children before birth, but God has been faithful to us. We have prayed many times for a daughter and feel God leading us down the road of adoption. We are eagerly waiting to see what precious blessing God has in store for us and how our prayers will be answered.

We have been married for 5 ˝ years. We met at a church conference in CO in July 2001, and even though we lived over a thousand miles apart at the time, God worked things out and we were married a little over a year later on August 4, 2002.

We strive to keep Christ at the center of our marriage and have a home where love abounds. We are both laid-back, FUN individuals who enjoy laughing and taking one day at a time. We enjoy traveling, taking walks, sports, reading, and being involved with our church. We live between the beach and the mountains and try to take advantage of both of those places whenever we can. Most importantly we enjoy doing things together as a family. Our boys are the center of our lives and we feel so blessed to be parents.

Jim

I am 33 years old. I was blessed to be raised by two wonderful Christian parents, along with two brothers and one sister. Some of my fondest memories growing up were the forts and go carts my brothers and I built, the fishing trips with my dad, packing up the van and traveling to visit all our relatives, and summers when we would travel and go on various vacations such as to Niagra Falls, Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, the Alamo, and swimming in the oceans on both coasts. Even though my family is scattered, I cherish the times I am able to spend time with my parents, siblings and all my nephews and nieces.

I have been blessed with a great job in the furniture industry that provides well above our needs financially. I enjoy playing and watching various sports as well as coaching my son's sports teams. Some of my other interests are riding my motorcycle, fishing, working with youth, playing my guitar and singing at church, and most of all spending time with my family.

Joanna

I was raised in a large family, with seven siblings. I feel so blessed that I grew up with so many "playmates". I have four brothers and three sisters. My family is very close and even though we have spread out as we have grown older, we all still get together at least once a year. What a joyous time those gatherings have become!

I have always had a deep love for children and grew up always dreaming of becoming a teacher. I fulfilled my dream, but left the field of being an elementary school teacher to be able to stay home after our first son was born. What a blessing and joy it has been being a stay-at-home mommy. God blessed us with a home that we were able to renovate and turn the bottom level into a licensed daycare. I feel priviledged that I can be at home with our children and still be able to be a positive influence to other children. Our boys enjoy the interaction with their "friends" that come each day.

We live in a beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath house in a very kid-friendly neighborhood. We have great neighbors and we help each other out whenever there is a need. We have a large fenced in yard with a big playground. We take walks, or ride bikes, through our neighborhood whenever the weather is nice.

We have a rescued German Shepherd/Boxer named Zoe. She is nine months old and full of life. Zoe is very intelligent and obedient and loves children and adults alike. We also have a fish named "Thomas"!

We both have very supportive families, friends, and a wonderful church family, who are eagerly awaiting the news of a precious little girl being adding to our family.

Thank you for taking the time to read about us. As you read our profile, we are praying for you. We pray that God will give you peace and lead you to the family that he has already chosen for you.

Many thanks and blessings,

Jim and Joanna…Big Brothers- Jadon James and Jeremiah Ethan
